AUDITIONS: Pippin
By Stephen Schwartz
Directed by Michelle Kriz

Pippin is the musical story of one man’s journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this updated circus-inspired version of Pippin relates the tale of the heir to the Frankish throne, young prince Pippin, and search for happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, pleasures of the flesh, and the intrigues of political power. Ultimately he finds, happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day

Auditioners will be asked to sing 16-32 measures of a Broadway show tune and/or perform a 1-2 minute showcase of a related talent such as circus acts, tumbling, juggling, or magic. Please dress for movement and be prepared for a short group dance audition. We highly encourage talented individuals of any race, age, body type, and gender presentation to audition! We are especially seeking actors with acrobatic/circus performance experience, as well as an actor who can play the part of a young boy.

No. of Women: 3-4
No. of Men: 4-5
Also casting additional chorus members.
Age Range: 6-600

Show runs June 14 - 30, 2024. Please come prepared to note any conflicts.
